Google Ads Report – Easy Lunches (2026-08)
September 16, 2026 by Red Clay Creative
The Basics
August brought in 630 clicks and about 43 conversions from $456.30 in ad spend. Your ads appeared 31,326 times. Spending was almost unchanged from July, but clicks fell 14% and conversions fell 36%.
The priority is understanding why the same budget produced fewer results before deciding whether more spend would help.
Key Metrics
- Impressions: 31,326 (-6%)
- Clicks: 630 (-14%)
- Conversions: 42.89 (-36%)
- Conversion rate: 5.80% (-33%)
- Cost per conversion: $10.64 (+55%)
- Total spend: $456.30 (-0.23%)
The Highlights
Your budget bought less traffic. With spending nearly flat, the drop in clicks put the average click cost at about $0.72, roughly 16% higher than July. Conversions fell faster than clicks, so reduced traffic alone doesn’t explain the decline.
Conversion efficiency also weakened. The reported conversion rate fell 33% to 5.80%. Combined with fewer clicks, that left your budget generating fewer conversions and raised the cost of each one by 55%.
Results slowed toward the end of August. Clicks trended lower late in the month, and conversions were close to zero on several days in the final week. We generally see a decline like this for “back to school”, so it will be important to see how conversions recover in September.
What We Recommend
- Find where the Bagels campaign lost efficiency. All reported clicks and conversions came from “Bagels – PMax (48 States).” We recommend comparing July and August results by product and location within that campaign to see where click costs rose or conversions declined. That would help us identify where your existing budget could work harder.
- Review the late-August slowdown. We recommend checking daily results from August 20-31 alongside any campaign, website, or product availability changes. We want to understand whether the decline came from reduced ad delivery, fewer visitors converting, or a tracking change before recommending a specific adjustment.
Looking ahead to next month, we’ll take a closer look at where the Bagels campaign lost efficiency and what changed late in August. That should give us a clearer basis for improving results with your current budget.
