Key Metrics

  • Impressions: 2,470 (+16%)
  • Clicks: 413 (+9.55%)
  • Conversions: 196.87 (+36%)
  • Conversion rate: 47.67% (+24%)
  • Cost per conversion: $3.04 (-26%)
  • Total spend: $599.30 (-0.14%)

The Highlights

The improvement came from more than additional traffic. Clicks grew 9.55%, while the reported conversion rate rose 24% to 47.67%. That combination explains why conversions grew much faster than clicks.

Clicks also cost less. Average click cost was about $1.45, roughly 9% lower than July based on the report’s rounded comparisons. Lower click costs and a higher conversion rate worked together to bring down the cost per conversion.

Brand interest and nearby-winery searches both contributed traffic. “Brix and columns” and “brix and columns vineyards” generated 150 clicks, or 36.3% of all clicks. “Winery near me” and “wineries near me” added 143 clicks, or 34.6%, giving us two distinct types of interest to build on.

What We Recommend

  • Test messaging for people choosing a nearby winery. The two “near me” keywords brought in more than a third of all clicks. We recommend testing ad copy that makes your location and visit details clear, with a matching page that helps people plan their visit. We’d compare conversion results for that group before widening the test.

Looking ahead to next month, we’ll take a closer look at how brand and local winery searches contribute to your results. That should help us build on August’s improvement and decide where there’s room to reach more people considering a visit.
