Can I group tasks together? Or should I submit a separate request for each individual task?
If tasks are related, or there are multiple tasks for the same web page, you can submit them together.
Otherwise, please submit a separate task request for tasks that are unrelated to each other or are on different pages. This helps us ensure your tasks are finished efficiently, and assigned to the right team member.
When will my task be completed?
We aim to have tasks completed within the timelines listed below. These may be longer if the task is not clear, has missing information or is out of scope.
- Small tasks: 2-3 business days
Examples include updating text, changing images, adding team members, etc. - Medium tasks: 2-5 business days
Examples include new blog post, new events, ad designs, updating existing designs - Large tasks: 3-7+ business days
Examples include new pages, new feature request or functionality, complex tasks that have multiple outputs, etc.
Does the time of day or day of the week impact when my task will be completed by?
Yes. We prefer to have tasks submitted in the beginning of the week, so we can plan ahead. If a task is submitted after 3pm ET, it will be most likely be started the following day. If a task is submitted on a Friday, it will most likely be started on Monday.
What do I do if my filetype isn’t accepted or it is too large?
You can share a link for us to download the files. We prefer Google Drive or wetransfer.com (make sure to select “Create Link” instead of “Send Email”.
Once you have the link, you can include that in the task form description.
What if the task is really long or requires specific formatting?
Please include the details in a Word doc or Google doc, and submit that file in the task form.
What do I do if something is urgent, or I need a task rushed?
If something is broken or your website is down, please email Troy and Laura.
If you have a request that you would like completed fast, please email us to confirm that we have the availability to address it within the preferred timeline.
Additional fees may apply depending on the type of request and urgency.
How can I track the progress of my task?
You can see the status of your task in your Client Portal.
We’ll email you if we have questions or need to clarify details, and to confirm when the task has been completed.
