Red Clay Creative is thrilled to be submitting a web design and development proposal for you and the Men of Valor. We understand that the Men of Valor website needs to better represent the quality of the company. Our goal is to create a website with a top-notch user experience that increases traffic and donors to your mission. Your digital fingerprint can be even more important than your physical one and we will reflect that through the development of an industry-leading website for Men of Valor. We have worked with over 200 companies, including many non-profits and we have a strong feel for what makes a great non-profit website.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Red Clay Creative will design and develop a website for Men of Valor. We will take the current website, and re-organize, design, and develop a new website that creates a better user experience for new and current donors. This is potentially just a starting point for the overall brand strategy, but we think it is the best place to start and what we recommend at this stage.
“How do I increase membership and donations?” We feel the development of the new website is a great initial answer to that question.
WHAT
UX Design + Development | $5,000
We will use our experience working with hundreds of websites to design and develop a fresh experience for your website. We’ll start by doing a UX audit of your current website. Then we’ll use that data to build upon your current branding and create a more seamless user experience. There will be some visual improvements, but our main focus for this project will be on crafting a website with clear user goals (i.e. Donate, Sign Up, etc.).
Written copy and content are provided by you for the website. All of our websites allow our clients to seamlessly make edits and minor changes as their companies evolve – specifically, in your case, we will continue to use the Elementor page builder that is currently on the site. This project will be deemed complete once the new design has been implemented and published.
WHY
Why is the user experience so important?
Your website is your digital storefront. It’s where people get to know you and interact with your brand. But a great website is more than just a nice storefront, it’s a tool for your business.
Every business has some action that they want people to take when they come to their website. In your case, it may be to donate to your cause. So we ask ourselves, “how do create a path for people to donate?” We think about the different types of people that will come to your site – some already familiar with you and others just getting to know you – “are there different paths for these user types?”
We take all of our research and insights, and then create a useful and beautiful website for you.
WHAT
Web Hosting + Maintenance Options
We will host and maintain your website on a monthly basis. We have two different tiers:
- Starter Hosting – starting at $25/mo.
- WordPress Care Plan + Hosting – starting at $125/mo.
With both options, we ensure that you have fast and secure website hosting. You will have dedicated hosting (with up to 20,000 monthly visitors), an SSL certificate, nightly backups, plugin/theme updates, and active malware protection. We have a team monitoring our websites 24/7 and include customer support in case of emergencies.
In addition to hosting, our WordPress Care Plans, ensure that your website is continually refreshed with new content and adjustments as your grow. This includes website edits such as changing photos, updating text, and/or edits to code on your website.

YOUR PROJECT SCHEDULE
Using the process outlined above, we expect to have your site complete within 6 weeks – this assumes all content and revisions are provided in a timely manner.

INVESTMENT
Payment Schedule
Payments for this project will be made in 3 equal payments: before the project starts, once the mockup is approved, and once the project is complete.
Invoices will be sent through PayPal or Quickbooks. You can also pay by check, mailed to Red Clay Creative, 1765 Greensboro Station Place, 9th Floor, McLean, VA 22102. Work will begin once the first payment is received.
Prices are subject to variation if this proposal is not signed within a 30-day period from the date of this document. If the scope of the project is different from this estimate, the project price could be adjusted accordingly.
